Peter Rowe has just posted on facebook that he has just turned 60 and is still skating in Victoria. He posted a photo doing a 50 grind at Bacchus Marsh to celebrate his achievement.

That is not Peter Rowe^^^^^^^ It is Micheal Van do Broke from Tasmania who use to live in Geelong and one of the Originals who got Corio Bowls back in 1979.
I skated with Mick the other week when he was visiting

Correct, I skated Ballarat with Peter yesterday, he was in good form but not the bloke pictured.

Either way both are weapons in the bowl!

It’s quite clear that both the above blokes pictured are clearly, how can I put it nicely…“getting on in life”. But foremost ripping it up.

Now that I’m a father it’s dawning on me Im no longer a spring chicken. However it stokes me to think I can still have the fight to keep skating later in life like you guys.
