The age of skaters
I started in 85 and skated everyday like my life depended on it. Until about 93 when boards went all popsicle and wheels werent even big enough to cover your bearings (I dont get why anyone would sacrifice speed so they can do flip tricks easier). And pretty soon my enthusiasm for skating had disappeared. Then around 1999, my good mates back in Canberra, Jezza and Joel, hooked me up with some big wheels and started dragging me out to the skateparks with them. Now Im 30 and I skate whenever I can. I like this site because I have no friends to skate with in Melbourne 
So I can find out where others who just enjoy skating are.
