SHE WAKES UP AROUND 3:00 OR 4:00AM, SHE GETS A LUCKY RIDE TO THE TOP OF THE HILL, SHE LINES UP FOR HER FIRST EVER LIONS URBAN ASSUALT RACE, SHES THE ONLY WOMAN, SHE STARTS OFF IN A TIGHT PACK RACING DOWN THE HILL, SHE SEE SEES A CRASH, SHE FUCKIN CRASHES, SHE SMASHES HER FACE AGAINST THE CONCRETE, SHE GETS UP, SHE CANT FIND HER BOARD, SHES FUCKED, SHE GETS LEFT ALL ALONE AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTIAN, SHE FINDS HERE BOARD, SHE FINNISHES THE RACE, SHE WINS A LANDYACHTZ LONGBOARD, SHES FUCKIN PUMPED!!! HARDCORE HARDING!!!

The only incident of the day occurred when Anne Harding slid out on a heel side left hander and took a hard fall. The crash left her in a lot of pain and a dislocated shoulder. After the EMT’s brought her to the bottom, Anne visited the hospital where her shoulder was put back in place. She was told to take it easy for a few days before resuming competition. Her current plans are to take Thursday off and come back for qualifying on Friday.

Anne got injuried at Danger Bay. From Dasha on Coast Longboarding :

Just spoke to Anne… she broke both bones, tibia and fibula. I think she said one spiral fracture and one clean break. The surgery took a couple hours and they put in one nail down the centre of the bone as well as pins to screw the pieces together. They told her 4-6 months for full recovery, but she’s aiming to be back on her board in time for Sully… tough as nails I tell ya!!!
