Hey Everyone - My names Riley and I’ve been working at the Frankston Skate Park with the YMCA for over 12 years now. For anyone who hasn’t heard, the YMCA has recently lost the contract for the Skatepark and from 1/10/2023 it will be run by Peninsula Leisure.
I’m hoping whoever is on this site can help me with finding any info/photos/videos on Frankston from your eyes - love to know who was around when it begun and how things were back then. I’ve skated it since opening in 06’ but was only a young kid then so didn’t know it like you guys will.
Happy with literally anything, just want a chance to tell the Skateparks story and history with everyones input! Much appreciated friends!
