I finally dragged the camera out again today at Mt Eliza. I always seemed to be in the wrong spot/ wrong light/ wrong setting but got a few reasonable pics regardless. Not as good as I’d hoped, not as bad as I’d feared…

It was a little bit like a wind tunnel there today, but the footy club burgers made up for everything else!
T’was a good turn out…I’d begun to think that the old fellas were thinning in more ways than one. I’m still not skating enough to get fully in tune with the bowl, but goddamn it’s smooth …so much fun and speed adrenalin rush.
I only heard about Wobbly John’s slam this morning…spoke to him this arvo- doing OK I suppose, but what a setback.
One strict lesson in that though…Mt Eliza will bite back when wet.
