I wandered up to see what has become of Turtle Bowl today. It’s still there, but the Molonglo development is encroaching and I reckon soon it will be demolished.
Interestingly, nearby are some pre-fab sections, they look like 15 ft + tranny sections! There is some big time work going on in the area. I had to duck under a fence and go cross country up the old cycle path to get there. Here are the pics:
If anyone is game and it dries out enough soon we should head up with the Pangfoto and get some of those youngster rad crew to hit it for the last time.
